Merkaba Studios is an architecture + design studio specialising in home transformations, renovations, and extensions. The studio’s philosophy is focused on creating beautiful, simple, holistic, and harmonious spaces. The engagement between a homeowner and their home should be both a physical and spiritual experience. It is a sanctuary and should provide a sense of serenity and playfulness. The studio's design process honours the natural elements of an existing site whilst taking an aspirational and pragmatic approach using skilful manipulation of light and shadows alongside the relationship between architecture, interior and landscape.
